Fiori d'Italia (flowers of Italy) was started July of 1995. It was incorporated as a non-political, non-sectarian organization to learn and promote our Italian heritage. We are basically a social club, and have become very involved in bocce ball. We started out by learning how to play bocce ball and ended up having tournaments, and now we branched into having a bocce league. We have had a great deal of success with the league. We've made many new friends and have enjoyed getting to know them. A lot of different Italian clubs have joined us and that to us is the frosting on the cake...bringing a lot of fun and crazy Italians together as a group.

Fiori d'Italia meets on the 1st Saturday of the month at 10:30 a.m. At the Mountain Vista Senior Community, 4800 Tabor St. Everyone brings a dish to share for the potluck. We have our meeting and plan social events for the year. Some of the events we host are Prima Dominica Italian Mass and Spring Spin at Elitch's Six Flags in April, which is our scholarship fundraiser. Everyone is invited for this fun filled day. We work for various charities. Everyone is welcome to join us.
